Our preschool programme focuses on giving your child the best headstart for school through a range of fun, hands-on activities including circle time, cooking, gardening and puzzle-solving.
Our aim is to encourage a balance of creative and artistic activities, with early maths, reading and writing skills in preparation for starting school.
Preschoolers Learning Skills
Through a variety of constructive, and fun learning activities, your preschoolers will build essential communication, problem-solving and social skills including:
- Recognising and understanding the feelings of other children, and responding to them
- Playing and interacting with other children in pretend play and imagination games
- Expressing more sympathy for others, and learning willingness to share, volunteer and be a team player
- Encouraging better understanding and responses to more complex instructions
- Being more comfortable and confident in their abilities
- Introducing basic chores and tasks like tidying up and taking off/putting on shoes
- Developing negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Learning how to hold a simple conversation and tell stories
- Building a better understanding of words used to indicate time, and order (today, yesterday; first, last)
